Project Overview
FSG are currently delivering a range of external works for Red Kite via a 5-year Framework agreement alongside one-off projects. Our close working relationship with Red Kite is underpinned by shared community values and deep property knowledge.
Duration & Scale
Over an 8-year period FSG has delivered roofing and roofline refurbishment works to more than 1,500 properties for Red Kite Community Housing Association. Work is delivered both as part of the Framework and on an ad-hoc basis where required.
Scope of Works
Typical works carried out include full re-roofing, replacement of fascias, soffits and gutters, replacement of concrete interlocking tiles and plain tiles with modern interlocking tiles, flat roof renewals, barge boards and under-eaves vent installation.
Asbestos Management & Safety
Where asbestos is present, FSG works closely with an approved asbestos removal contractor to coordinate removal activities. Asbestos removal is carefully timed and managed in conjunction with the HSE to ensure the safety of both customers and operatives.
Product Specification & Guarantees
FSG propose Swish fascias, soffits and gutters for roofline renewals. As an Approved Installer, FSG can offer a 50-year guarantee on these products.
Sustainability
The Swish products specified are manufactured from 84% recycled material and deliver an approximate 70% CO₂ saving, supporting Red Kite’s and FSG’s community and environmental commitments.
