Project Description
Commercial EV Charging Point Installation
Westbridge Foods reached out to our partner supplier EVBox, who passed their details to us at FSG. The on-site survey established that a 15-metre electrical route needed digging out from the building to the kerbside and to the proposed locations of the EV charging points, each between two car parking spaces.
Westbridge Foods were impressed with the functionality of the EVBox BusinessLine, which allows one unit to charge two vehicles simultaneously. It was also excellent value for money as they could claim £350 off per socket using the OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme, making a saving of £1400 when installing two units.
FSG provided the whole service, from digging out the trench to connecting the unit ready to charge, so we were the only contractor they needed. The project took 5 days to complete and included:
Installation of 2 x 22kW BusinessLine, ground works
Connecting electrical cables to fuse board
Digging out earth from building to create a trench to kerbside
Laying cables in trench, backfill and tidy area
